MIZPAH
Welcome to the MIZPAH Home! Here, David and Angie are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, therapeutic group home in a family style setting while teaching youth skills for success. Their home is nestled in a quiet, peaceful, little village within walking distance of a big, beautiful park. You will be welcomed into their home by two friendly huskies that extend the family's warmth and acceptance as part of the pack. David and Angie have consistently cared for others throughout their 25 plus years of marriage professionally and personally. In the community as mentors, coaches, teachers, scout leaders and in the home while raising their biological and foster children. Angie is a Licensed Social Worker and David is a Veteran who both have invaluable experience of working with children and youth with differing abilities, severe emotional and behavioral issues. They have years of advocating and supporting those in need of IEPs, 504 plans or who require alternative schooling. David and Angie have a deep faith and meet others right where they are at while providing encouragement to create a place where youth can accomplish their individual goals and beyond.

MIZPAH means watch tower and refers to the scripture, “May the Lord keep watch between you and me when we are away from each other.” This has been the foundation to David and Angie’s relationship as many days were spent apart as he served in the military. Against all odds the MIZPAH Home is here and they invite you into their home as a place of refuge, a watch tower, where all are welcomed, cared for and empowered for the greater good.
