Teaching Parents & Teaching Parent Alternates - Contingent, Part-Time and Full-Time

Representative Essential Duties – Complete Duties provided to candidates upon request

• Teach alternative, pro-social behaviors in accordance with CTH policy and procedure manual

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the youths in the group home, in school, in the community and in the youths’ own homes

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the youths, their parents, and community agencies responsible for the youths

• Transport youths to school or school activities, medical appointments, court, community and social service agencies or to any other destination

• Act in a responsible and independent manner in emergencies

• Document daily clinical interventions​

Position: Behavioral Health Provider - Part-Time

Representative Essential Duties:

• Provide case management/ care coordination for children and families.

• Provide individual and group therapy to youth, focusing on mental health needs and behavioral health support.

• Teach alternative, pro-social behaviors in accordance with CTH policy and procedure manual.

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with youth, their parents, and community agencies.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, using therapeutic techniques.

• Document clinical interventions and progress in daily notes in accordance with best practices and agency guidelines.

• Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, social workers, and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Required: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
